6.0 Earthquake and TD7
About 250 miles off the west coast of Florida a rare 6.0 earthquake
shook the Gulf of Mexico and portions of the SE US. No damage or
injuries reported and the quake was not strong enough to create a
tsunami. This tremor occured in the same location as a 5.2 quake in
February. Here I am in Orlando when this happened and I did not feel a
thing.
TD7 will be announced tonight with an 11pm advisory. Like hurricane
Florence this system should turn north in the coming days and not affect
the US.
Speaking of Florence the latest recon report indicates that she is still
a cat.1 with no change in pressure. Please check back for further
updates on these systems.
