It seems really cool here in South Florida. Today's high was only 69F, which I know is warm by many standards but does not seem normal around here. After a quick check I found that our record low (for Pompano Beach) is 34F set in 1968. Our normal high for today is 79F, so that is a 10F deviation from the average.
Look like rain tomorrow afternoon into the evening which is very welcomed. For the year we have only 2.22" in Ft. Lauderdale which is less than half the usual of 5.82". With a low pressure system that is forming in the Gulf as we speak there should be a fair amount of rain with it as the system moves over us. Though if the low tracks further north, over central Florida we will see much less rain. We will see tomorrow what materializes.
Update tomorrow...
