Arlene almost a hurricane

With the 11PM advisory Arlene is poised to strike the central Gulf coast as a minimal hurricane. The system is becoming better organized as it moves north. With warm SSTs and minimal shear Arlene will become a hurricane in the morning.

Actually a Hurricane Warning has just been issued from Destin, Florida west to Mississippi. According to my analysis Arlene should be a 80MPH (catagory 1) hurricane at landfall.
