Colder Monday Night?

Some new data is coming in showing the high that was to be west of us
ending up over south Florida Monday night. This could result in lows in
the lower 30s for SE Florida.

Coldest Weather of the Season Coming In

We will feel a significant change in our weather as we go into this afternoon and eveing. Currently we are at 80F and that is the warmest weather we will have for almost a week. A cold front is moving through the state with a line of precip stretching from Daytona Beach to Tampa and offshore. We will see some shower activity tonight then much cooler/colder air moves in.

Prelim forecast numbers for the rest of the weekend are 55 tonight, 65 Sunday, 39 Monday morning, 66 Monday afternoon. This will be even colder than the morning of Jan 8.

Some possible advisories for the east coast regions are possible so stay tuned.

Cold Weekend Upcoming

Looks like we are in for a very cool weekend, especially Sunday. Highs
Sunday and Monday will probably no be above 65F. Tomorrow I should have
a good idea on rainfall Saturday evening and how cold it will be here.

Fire Weather Watch for Thursday

Very dry air over us now. Dew point is around 31F with a temp of 56F so
we should see a low of about 48F just after sunrise. With the dry air a
Fire Weather Watch has been issued for the eastern half of the
counties.

The second of a series of cold fronts came through this morning so we
should see mostly below normal temps as we go through the weekend. Not
too cold though, so besides a few showers around Saturday morning as
another front comes through we should have some very nice weather.
