Beryl Has Peaked

As Beryl is heading NNE towrds Nova Scotia it appears he will weaken now
that part of the circulation is over cooler waters and it is beaing
absorbed by a trough to the NE.

Mass. Should not have a direct impact from the storm, just a real breezy
day along with showers, after the heat there earlier this week this is
probably a welcomed change.

Elsewhere in the Atlantic there is not much to mention so we will keep
watching for the next one.

Still no Data on the Site

Still working on getting data back on the sites. I have the local
system working except the computer used as the weather server is a Win98
machine and it does not like the wireless environment, yet :)

The system is the Atlantic is holding on and conditions are becoming
more favorable for developement.

Data Problems and the Next System

Yes it has been too long again since my last post. Plenty of excuses,
but nothing tragic. There was a short in the line where all the DSL
equpipment is inside the house here which was preventing data uploads to
the website and Wunderground. I am in the process of repairing this so
please be patient.

Nice looking system in the Atlantic right now, conditions are not great
for further development but should be better in 36+ hours.

Boca Raton as a shower is coming ashore.

Tropical Wave Over South Florida

A tropical wave will bring periods of heavy rain to the area on
Wednesday. This will be similar to what we saw last week. Tonight we
had a sample of what may come with .08 inches of rain and breezy
conditions.

The picture was taken this morning as I left for work. Just a neat
cloud formation.

Tropics, Something to Watch

Upper level winds have been unfavorable for any tropical developement
for a few weeks now. This seems to be changing, somewhat.

There is an upper low and a trough I am currently watching in the
Atlantic. Over the past few hours it has become better organized but is
moving into an area of moderate shear.

This system is on track to bring some wet weather to south Florida this
Wednesday and/or Thursday.

Check back for details as we go into the week.
